We've continued to press ahead over the last few weeks with developing the SOCAP in Europe presence on the web and social networks. We now have a SOCAP in Europe group on Linked In (group: SOCAP Europe) and are making more use of our Twitter account (socapie). You can use the new Linked In group to engage in discussion and debate and also to find out about upcoming events and other updates. If you are a LinkedIn member, join our group now!
We have also updated our news area to allow email subscription to all of our latest news feeds (this integrates with Google Feedburner). We decided not to restrict to SOCAP in Europe members because we wanted this to provide a means for anyone interested in our activities and generally what is happening across the industry to receive regular updates. Of course, this does not allow these subscribers to access all of the other great features on offer in our members only area together with free access to networking events and discounted training.
Social media continues to dominate in providing topics of interest and we have a new, social media related poll on the website. Please vote and you can then monitor the results. If you want to debate social media in more detail then why not use our forums to ask a question and engage with your fellow members. Or maybe you have a suggestion for a future event or any other question that our members may be able to answer, simply log-in and create a new topic. After the fantastic success of our socal media networking event at Kellogg's in Manchester, we will be holding another similar event. We will be posting details soon in the upcoming events area of the site. Remember, we have several other great events and you can now register your participation online - simply click on the relvant event and follow the links to register. Our next event will be a networking event hosted by SSL International where Elizabeth Manford will run an interactive session on Consumer Legislation - including how this impacts on social media interactions between consumers and businesses.
